The commendations
Commendations reward what your play adds up to: challenges met again and again, streaks, milestones and a few secret feats. 26 in all, most with a look of their own, and once earned they are kept for good.

The four challenge commendations come in bronze, silver and gold. The rest are earned once. Your progress on each is on the Honours tab of your detective record.

In the game, a secret commendation shows only its riddle until you earn it, and here too. Each one points at something you can do. Work out what, and its name, its look and how you earned it are revealed.

How they work
Earned by playing well
Commendations are worked out from your case history, so with Cloud Sync they come back on your other devices of the same kind. As on the ladder, a case counts only from the solve that earned its rank points. New commendations are announced when you close a case, with the look ready to use.
